SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (CONTRACTOR/AT-HOME POSITION)

We are looking for experienced Sales Development Representatives to join our expanding team as contractors working from home.

Position Description

Sales Development Representative (Contractor/At-Home Position)

Qualifications

  • Proven track record with at least 3 years in a sales development role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, ideally in the home improvement and/or home services space, or similar home-based industry

  • Solid phone skills, perfect English and writing skills. Calling is key to followup of emails and other electronic communications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • You have great copywriting skills, superb verbal communication skills, and great attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills to optimize campaigns and identify trends and patterns; learn and understand our business and its services to clients

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both marketing, sales and senior management

  • Proficient in CRM sottware and knowledgeable in lead qualification and nurturing methodologies

  • Self-motivated and organized with a high level of autonomy and accountability

  • BONUS: Proven, successful working experience in an SDR / demand generation role

 

Responsibilities

  • As our Sales Development Representative

  • (SDR), you will report directly to senior management and will be instrumental in creating and nurturing sales-qualified leads from self-initiated calls, Linkedin data mining, company website and referrals, and meetings, and turning them into effective sales conversations

  • Working in lockstep with the management team, you'll develop a keen understanding of client needs and market opportunities, laying the groundwork for powerful sales engagements

  • Write, perform, and optimize email sequences on a daily basis to engage prospects through outbound emails, self-initiated calling, social media messaging, and other sources

  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of interested prospects, scheduling sales meetings or demos for the management team

  • Meet prospects independently and qualify for opportunities through Zoom meetings and calls to identify new sales opportunities from company and self-generated leads

  • Work closely with senior management to refine lead qualification processes, aligning marketing strategies with sales targets

  • Collaborate with the sales team to cultivate leads within each unique territory and ensure seamless handover of sales-qualified leads, fostering synergy and cohesion between sales and marketing efforts

  • Leverage CRM tools to optimize campaigns, track engagement, report on lead activity, and provide insights into lead generation effectiveness

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree
